My name is Tammy Croll, and I'm the president of the Newcomers Club of Wheaton, Winfield, and Warrenville. I moved to Wheaton about five years ago and have been a club member ever since! The activities in which I participate have changed over the years, from starting out in playgroups and doing Moms and Tots activities to now enjoying Book Club and Family Fun activities. The club truly has something for everyone in your family!
The Newcomers Club is a women's social organization with a network of approximately 150 families, including:
• New and long-time residents
• Working and stay-at-home moms
• Single and married women of all ages
There are some wonderful benefits to being a Newcomers Member. We offer activities and interest groups for women, adults, kids, and the entire family, and we help facilitate community outreach programs throughout the year. You learn about fun things to do in the area and earn discounts at local businesses. Our members-only listserve helps Newcomers buy/sell items and find referrals for doctors, contractors, preschools, etc. If you have a question, someone in the group has an answer!
We are always welcoming new members!
If you are interested, or have a friend or neighbor who might be interested in joining, come to one of our upcoming events. Prospective members can attend an open house plus one event before joining, so check out an Open House, one of our General Meetings, or any other event that looks interesting!
If you still have questions, you can e-mail us at Newcomers_Club@yahoo.com.
Thanks for visiting, and we hope to hear from you soon!
